Hi Folks!
Fountain Pen Day (Nov 6th) is nearly upon us, and Anderson Pens is sponsoring a give-away on your favorite blog: Inkdependence!
This is a Delta Unica in a Limited Edition color just for Anderson Pens. I reviewed the first LE of this Unica last year, and it's a pen that is still in my daily-use rotation. The nib is great, the size is comfortable, and the weight is just right. Not to mention, it's super good-looking.
The Unica that you'll receive won't be the red. Those are all gone. Yours will be this cool dark green. I don't have a Unica in this color, but I do have a Fusion 82 in the same acrylic, and it's beautiful.
You'll get to choose Fine, Medium, or Broad, and the Andersons will ship you the pen.
Tell your friends and neighbors to get over here and enter to win this pen.

I am very disappointed that this giveaway is exclusively for US residents only. :(
Sorry, Anonymous, the international shipping costs would be prohibitive, so it has to be US only. I know there are other give-aways for the FPDay event, and I hope you can win one of those.
Thanks for the giveaway, and happy Fountain Pen Day to all!
I'd totally recommend a Lamy Al-Star or Safari as a starter pen.
that's a beautiful pen. I would love to have one.
Nice giveaway. I recommend either Safari's or Metropolitans to my new FP friends, and Lamy 2000 or Studio to my firneds who want to get a bit more serious, and Edison or Franklin-Christopf to those who want to dive deep.
I personally started with the Pilot Kakuno and loved how it helped me adjust my handwriting position. If I'm writing to someone whose handwriting position is off, I'd probably recommend the Kakuno. If not, I would recommend the Pilot Metropolitan. Obviously, I love the starter Pilot pens...
recommending the Lamy 2000. just rec'd one recently and love it more than any others.... for now.
Thanks for the giveaway. I'm a teacher, and the pen I most often recommend to my students is the Lamy Safari. There are a ton of colors to choose from, they are well made, and they are relatively inexpensive. A great starter pen.
Pilots. I would recommend the relevant pilot to anyone thinking of a fountain pen. Metropolitan, or 78G, my office mate went for a MyuRex as his first... can't go wrong with a Pilot.
Happy fountain pen day! I started with a Metropolitan, and it got me hooked pretty successfully. I'd say a TWSBI Eco is a pretty good contender though.
So awesome, here's hoping! I'm recommending the Pilot VP. I just became a believer and now I want everyone to get on the VP train.
Instead of completely excluding people living overseas, couldn't you offer them the option of participating providing they're willing to cover the shipping costs?
This exact pen is at the top of my list when my pen budget recovers (early next year) -- it would be soooo great to be able to get it sooner! Thanks Michael for offering a chance at that opportunity.
That's an attractive looking pen. I would love to win. Okay, if it's *anything* pen related I'd love to win just on general principle.... :-)
Honestly, a good starter pen is a Parker Vector. That was my first "good" pen (before that I had had a couple of those cheapie Parker cartridge pens with the rubberized section. In fact I gave a Vector FP and BP set to my husband's niece for her high school commencement, since she was valedictorian of her class (and now I will have to probably get one for her younger sister, who is also likely to be top of her class....
Parker Sonnet is my recommended every day writer. It is a beautiful pen with a smooth nib that writes reliably.
I would probably recommend a Kaweco Sport. I know that it's an odd choice, but it's such a cool little pen and has a lot of nice bits of flare that the Metropolitan and Safari don't have.
Oooohhhh hope I win
Lamy Safari or Vista - a great starting pen!
Sheaffer 330. Love those inlaid nib
Sheaffer 330. Love those inlaid nib
Well I just got a Pilot 78G with a double broad italic nib but one of my grails pen is the new Visconti opera metal monza. But I'd really love a Moore L92 or a Mabie Todd Swan.
I gave my best friend one of my Parker 45s because I love them so much. So I would have to say that. Or a Pilot Metro for newbies or TWSBI Eco for less of a newbie but still newish.
I just started a friend with a Preppy; I like demonstrators and I think it helps folks see the magic of the pen. I do also agree with the Lamy Al-Star or Safari suggestions, too - can't go wrong there!
Appreciate your supporting fountain pen day with this great give-away!
For someone just getting started, I'd suggest a TWSBI Eco.
For friends who are scared of fountain pens and are just getting started, I'd either recommend a Kaweco sport in a cool color (as a fashion accessory and a travel-friendly pen) or a Lamy Safari. If I were giving this as a gift, I'd make sure to give them a Lamy converter and a bottle of a lovely color as well!
Thanks for doing the giveaway!
Thanks for the giveaway! Good luck to everyone
New to the fountain pen world, and just loving it! My budget doesn't always agree, though!
I will be showing off my recently acquired TWSBI Eco in black/Fine. Everyone should know about the joys, and sometimes woes of using a fountain pen.
thank you for the opportunity to win. A recommendation would be pilot metropolitan, lamy or twsbi
Thanks for the great giveaway ... and for putting another pen on my wish list. I have such a weakness for green pens. Happy Fountain Pen Day!

Nice giveaway. Thank you. DU is one of my most wanted pens.
The pen I would recommend is a Platinum Preppy. Writes smoothly and reliably, offers a cap that keeps the ink wet, and if you remove all the branding on the barrel, it's a nice-looking demonstrator for just a few dollars.
Thanks for the giveaway! I love fountain pens. DH and I just decided yesterday that when each of our kids graduates from college, that will be the gist - a fountain pen :)
Thank you, this is a great giveaway! I'd probably recommend a TWSBI Eco or Lamy AL-Star, seeing as most of my friends have no idea what the fuss is about with FPs; both are fun to write with and easy to maintain. :)
The Unica looks great, and with a green pen, I'd have to get some green ink, naturally.
As for recommendations, I like the Lamy Nexx. Simple and easy to manage, inexpensive, but a great everyday writer.
I'd totally recommend a Lamy Safari. However, for a total beginner that's not sure about even the $30 investment of a Lamy, I'd recommend the Platinum Preppy. $2 pen and it works so well
I think the Pilot Kakuno is a fun pen for beginners. How can you resist that face?
I'll be recommending the Pilot Metropolitan. I've gotten lots of comments on mine, and it's the perfect intro pen price-wise.
I also recommend the Pilot Metropolitan. It's a very nice pen at a good price.
Gorgeous pen!
Beautiful pen!
Very nice looking pen. Hope I win!
Probably a Pilot VP!
I've heard a lot of great things about this pen. Thanks for doing this giveaway. Hope to win!
Sheaffer Sagaris.
I would recommend a TWSBI, Pilot Metropolitan, or Lamy Safari as a starter pen. For someone that wanted to expand their collection further, I'd recommend a Pelikan. Thanks for the giveaway!
I'm recommending a Karas Kustoms INK on FPD.
Amazing giveaway! Happy Fountain Pen Day!
i'd like to recommend a faber-castell loom as a first pen to my friends!
I would say use what pen you have. If new the. Try a jinhao x450 or x750. I personally am going to use my Twsbi 580
I tend to recommend/buy the Pilot Metropolitan for my friends.
I am like some sort of demented evangelist for the Pilot Kakuno. Adorable, cheap, writes like a dream, you won't cry if you lose it. What's not to like?
I would recomend a Inoxcrom Nature, quite cheap, sturdy and reliable.
Happy early FP day! And wow, that's a nice pen.
As for recommendations, I think I'm not alone when I recommend the Pilot Metropolitan. It's a solid entry level pen
A Lamy Safari or Pilot Metropolitan as a starter. :)
I'll be recommending the TWSBI Eco to start!
That's one nicely done pen!
A Pilot Metro to recommend as a first
That's a handsome jade colored material. Thanks for the Giceaway
This has got to be one of my favorite times of the year. I sadly don't know anyone in real life besides my girlfriend that uses fountain pens.
I will be recommending the Pilot Metropolitan.
I started out with a pilot metropolitan, and I would totally recommend that as an accessible entry level FP to the novice.
I would recommend a Lamy Safari because that's the only pen I own, and I love it!
I'd recommend a Kaweco Sport. It's inexpensive, takes international short carts, and can take a beating.
I would definitely recommend a TWSBI Eco. Great price, functional, comfortable, and it definitely looks great!
The color of this pen is quite charming

Lamy Safari
I love this color and ingenuity of this pen !
I think I would recommend the Platinum Preppy -- simple but effective. Thanks for the opportunity!!
I would recommend the Pilot Metro. Great all round pen for the price!
I like the Pelikan Souveran 400 Collection Fountain Pen in Black & Blue with the Extra Fine Gold Nib; it's pretty luxe.
HAPPY FOUNTAIN PEN DAY!
Hey, I want this pen.
I would recommend the Ohto Tasche, one of my favorite and most comfortable pens.
lovely :)
I would start simple, get a budget pen, a Metropolitan perhaps, and then just go for it! write with it every day, draw, sketch, explore!
Pilot VP!!!
I am not on instagram or twitter, but am glad to be a new follower. :)
Looks like a lovely pen!
I've been following you for a while on youtube and I really enjoy your reviews. Keep up the great work and thanks for the giveaway! They're always fun.
I always suggest the pilot metropolitan for people just getting into this world.
I am a complete novice. I have a couple Pilot Metropolitans on order, if that counts for anything.
Gorgeous pen. My first fountain pen was the varsity pilot but I wouldn't really recommend it. I think a Lamy makes a nice starter.
Happy Fountain Pen Day! My first fountain pen was a Preppy.
I would recommend a Lami Safari to starters, since it has a modern look and is easy to maintain.
My first serious fp was a Lamy Vista, which has become my daily beater pen and thankfully has survived more than one drop. Happy FPD!
Getting a new person into fountain pens, I suggested they start with a Metropolitan like I did :)
Thanks for doing this! This is a gorgeous pen!
The green looks fantastic on this pen.
A very kind giveaway. Thank you for doing so.
Happy PFD.
Lamy anything is my recomendation
Thank you for doing this cool giveaway.
I'd recommend the Pilot Kakuno.
Happy fountain pen day! Thank you so much.
I'm very much enjoying the TWSBI 580AL lately, it writes so well and is lovely.
Hello. This is a neato pen. Neat-o-riffic.
What a stunning pen!
Excellent giveaway! For someone new to fountain pens, I'd recommend a Pilot Metropolitan or Lamy Safari/Al-Star. I've given both as initial pens to people who I thought I could contaminate with the fountain pen bug.
Looks like a nice pen!
Cool pen
Beautiful pen.
Did you ask what FP we'd be recommending? Platinum Preppy.
Oh boy, I'm so excited
