So, this is a new thing on their site. I've been waiting for it to go live, and it finally is.
They re-worked all of their ink cards over the last few months, and now they're all digitized and you can compare them absolutely side-by-side. Qualities, prices, all sorts of things compared. It's very cool. Go see it.

I think you just answered my quest to find an affordable alternative to Parker penman sapphire... Which means I can stop hoarding my sapphire sample and use it!
Ha! Glad I could help. I hear it's a lot like Diamine Majestic Blue or Akkerman Shocking Blue. What're you thinking of replacing it with?
Well, according to the handy chart that you posted, the one that most appeals to me is the Sailor Jentle Blue. It's the depth of color with the deeper shading that I like so much. I did have a sample of Diamine majestic blue (I put the entire thing in a franklin christoph antique glass pocket 66- it was very pretty in there!) and I did like the color, but it had a sharpness to it, probably from the sheen, that I thought took away from the deep color. Akkerman is not quite as affordable as the others, and also might have "too much" sheen for what I am after.
