The Wet Pen’s Elliott Bay
It seems like everything that Matthew at The Wet Pen makes is high quality. His videos are great, and so are his inks. He makes them, and you can buy them from his store when they’re available. You totally should.
Elliott Bay is a sort of medium-light blue with a dusky look and some multichrome shading. It’s a really neat effect, and I have really enjoyed this ink. I’m had it in this Platinum 3776 for about a year. Sometimes I just have to force myself to swap ink colors. I don’t think it’s time to swap this one, yet.
The pictures below will tell the story, but I absolutely recommend this ink. Good flow, great color, works well on bad paper, and it’s made by a small maker. Oh, and a good price. It’s all a win.

Elliott Bay is also excellent on the bottom tier copy paper. There’s a bit of bleed here and there, but that’s really good on this paper with a broad nib.
As expected, it’s great on the Sanzen Tomoe River paper.
That close-up, though! I love the way there’s a bit of green in the middle of each letter.
Old school Tomoe River is hardly available now, but of course this ink looks awesome on it.
I didn’t have many things to compare to Elliott Bay because it’s such a unique color. I think it’s about half way between these other two inks, though.
